Firearm Fundamentals
Safety & Survival Strategies for Defensive Gun Owners

This course is designed for individuals who are new to shooting and/or individuals debating whether or not they should own a firearm. Students will have the opportunity to explore firearms as one potential solution against violent crime and to handle several different firearms in order to aid in choosing what type of weapon to purchase.
Course topics include:
Profiles of societal violence, offensive & defensive posturing, firearm selection, caliber considerations, safe handling of firearms, and shooting familiarization.

Pistol Pro
Mastering the Basics of Defensive Pistol

The Pistol Pro course is for students who would like to become proficient & comfortable with a pistol. This is a follow-on course to Firearm Fundamentals and covers the following topics: Safety, principles of marksmanship, loading/unloading, holstering & weapon presentation, shooting positions, managing weapon malfunctions, and use of deadly force considerations.
Rental firearms are available to students if needed. Contact us for pricing.
Ammunition available for purchase at 10% discount.
Pre-requisites: Basic understanding of handgun operation.

Rifle Ready
Mastering the Basics of Defensive Rifle

The Rifle Ready course is for students who would like to become proficient and comfortable with a modern rifle for defensive purposes. This Level 1 course covers the following topics: Safety, principles of marksmanship, loading/unloading, weapon presentation, shooting positions, managing weapon malfunctions, & use of deadly force considerations.
Pre-requisites: None
Duration: 6 hours, 11am-5pm
Carry Core
Concealed Carry Handgun

The Carry Core course is designed for students who intend to carry a pistol for defensive purposes. This Level 2 course covers the following topics: Safety, holster selection and carry options, holstering and weapon presentation, managing weapon malfunctions in high stress environments, threat assessment, pre-conflict decision profiles, shooting from positions of cover, force continuum survival strategies, & use of deadly force considerations.
Ammunition is available for purchase; students are given a 10% discount on all ammo purchases. Snacks, drinks and when applicable, lunch will be provided.

Pre-requisites: Pistol Pro, or an equivalent course. For safety purposes, a skills assessment will be conducted prior to each course to ensure each student will comfortably assimilate course content.
